Europe's biggest game exhibition Gamescom's main sponsor Koelnmesse introduced 'Gamescom2016', which is scheduled to take place in Koeln International Exhibition Center from August 17th to 21st. CEO Katalina Hama stated that 'Gamescom2015' broke their record last year by having 806 companies from 45 countries and exhibition area 193,000 square meters large. Total number of visitors were 345,000 from 96 countries worldwide and 33,200 were industry officials. These numbers were drastically increased compared to the first exhibition held in 2009. Number of participating companies were increased 76%, number of expert visitors were increased 92%, and exhibition area increased by 61%.
'Gamescom2016' provides B2B specialized exhibition area. Katalina Hama explains that they want to provide chances for game industry officials, game salesmen, publisher, developers to come together to share ideas and get a chance to meet new partners this year. During last year's 'Gamescom2015' 19 country specialized booth were installed and one of the booths in Korean booth Gameberry, KOCCA, Weplegames, and 45 other companies participated being recorded as the 3rd largest country participant.
in case of Korea, Korean Contents Advancement Center and Korean Mobile Game Association completed the joint booth registration and secured 540 square meters of space.
Ncloud24 will attend 'Gamescom2016' and support those game industry officials, game sales representatives, publishers, and developer around the world. |
